Cambridge University Polo Club

Polo is a fast, fun and exciting sport that is growing rapidly. Playing through the University is an amazing opportunity to experience it under the guidance of our professional 3-goal coach, Guy Verdon.

The club caters for players with any level of experience, from total beginners to previously handicapped players. 
Beyond day-to-day lessons, we regularly host inter-university matches and send teams of differing abilities to tournaments, including SUPA Winter National Polo Tournament in February – the largest polo tournament in the world.  We host matches between other university teams and the year culminates with the Varsity Match at Guards in June.
The Club is currently based in Lode at the Cambridge County Polo Club, just 15 minutes from the center of Cambridge.

Currently under the presidency of HRH Prince of Wales, a former CUPC member, the Club has a number of notable alumni, many of whom remain actively involved with the Club both on and off the pitch and through their continued generous support.
